Some people got their iPhone 4 a couple of days... |

Symbian^3 is due this year, in fact we've heard that S^3 devices should arrive in Q3, but we hadn't seen a live demo of it. One just hit the Internet - it runs on a laptop rather than a phone but still, the UI is manipulated in real time in front of a live audience. It's important to note that Symbian^3 is meant to catch up to the users expectations of what a modern smartphone should be able to do, we have to wait till Symbian^4 to get to the innovative part. We weren't mightily impressed by the mockup videos... |

We've heard it again and again but this time it's official - the HTC HD2 will launch on T-Mobile USA very soon. It's been a long string of rumors and leaks up to now and some of them did a lot to amp up the anticipation. Like the find that the HTC HD2 for T-Mobile USA packs 576MB RAM. Pardon the cliche, but it's one of the holiest of Holy Grails of technology: Wireless power. And while early lab experiments have been able to "beam" electricity a few feet to power a light bulb, the day when our laptops and cell phones can charge without having to plug them in to a wall socket still seems decades in the future.
Nokia, however, has taken another... |
LG Panther is the codename for the company's first Windows Phone 7 smartphone. It hits the second category devices defined by Microsoft, because of its sliding QWERTY keyboard and it's rumored to launch this September. LG seems to be in a real hurry with their first Windows Phone 7 device. New information shows the previously leaked QWERTY-packing Series 7 running LG device goes under the codename Panther. It's surely not the best codename we've heard out there, but it could be worse.

Downloadsquad writes: Did you know that the Xbox 360 is just a PC in a box? Sure, the inputs are different and you generally attach it to a TV -- but still, internally, it's PC hardware. You can even use the controllers with your PC if you like! The Xbox doesn't run Windows though; and despite its name, Windows Phone 7 isn't anything like the Windows you'll find on your PC. It's a similar situation with Apple devices: the desktop machines use standard PC hardware, but the iPhone, iPad and iPod all use 'phone-like'... |
