The iPhone 4 has launched
officially today. Right from day one, the iPhone 4 had to endure quite
the storm - people are scrutinizing the Retina Display, saying a yellow
spot has appeared at the bottom, signal reception is reportedly flawed,
the white version is going to be delayed and to top it all off, the
special hardened glass that covers the iPhone 4 went through a nasty
stress test that didn't end so good.

Some people got
their iPhone 4 a couple of days...

Kin One and Kin Two are a duo of multimedia phones with a strong focus on social networking. Both phones use a customized Windows Phone 7 interface where online social interaction is central.
The new Kin phones are set to provide a "deeply social" experience on the same platform that will bring us the first Windows Phone 7 phones. In contrast to Windows Phone 7 phones, the whole user experience will be entirely personal revolving around social networking on the go. The homescreen of the KIN phones (called...

Some more specs of the rumored Nokia N8 were uncovered. What is said to be Nokia's first 12MP cameraphone leaked through an XML on the company's website. An nHD screen and Symbian^3 are all but certain, though nothing about the key feature of the phone, its camera is mentioned.
So, the screen on the Nokia N8 will sport the nHD resolution (360 x 640), which so far is the only resolution used by Nokia for their...

Symbian^3 is due this year, in fact we've heard that S^3 devices should arrive in Q3, but we hadn't seen a live demo of it. One just hit the Internet - it runs on a laptop rather than a phone but still, the UI is manipulated in real time in front of a live audience.
It's important to note that Symbian^3 is meant to catch up to the users expectations of what a modern smartphone should be able to do, we have to wait till Symbian^4 to get to the innovative part. We weren't mightily impressed by the mockup videos...

LG keep expanding their portfolio of entry-level and midrange handsets, which played a key role in making them the third largest manufacturer worldwide. Now the company unveiled no less than 5 yet unannounced phones at a press event held in Amstelveen, Netherlands.
LG KS365 is a successor to the highly popular LG KS360 and comes with a slide-out full QWERTY keyboard. It refreshes the design of its predecessor but puts little new functionality on the table. The 2.4" touchscreen is retained and so are...

While the first phone out there packing Bluetooth 3.0, the Wave, is about to hit the stores in a few weeks, the first Android-based smartphone with the latest version of Bluetooth is still waiting for its announcement. That's the Samsung SHW-M120S.
We have no images of the SHW-M120S to show you but there's a nice mini specs sheet. The Android-powered Samsung SHW-M120S is apparently meant to show up only in South Korea but the world isn't that big after all. And the M120S is GSM network compatible (HSDPA support is also on board).

In case you've missed it, Samsung announced the be-all-and-end-it-all display at this year's MWC. Dubbed Super AMOLED it comfortably outdoes every other mobile phone display we have seen so far. And now in the build up before the launch of the Samsung S8500 Wave, the first handset to give you a taste of it, they released a promo video highlighting its strongest points.

We've heard it again and again but this time it's official - the HTC HD2 will launch on T-Mobile USA very soon. It's been a long string of rumors and leaks up to now and some of them did a lot to amp up the anticipation.
Like the find that the HTC HD2 for T-Mobile USA packs 576MB RAM. Later it turned out that all HD2's pack 576MB, though on non-US have only 448MB available by default - the rest is only unlockable by a custom firmware.
But T-Mobile are hosting a special event on March 16 - it's about...

Pardon the cliche, but it's one of the holiest of Holy Grails of technology: Wireless power. And while early lab experiments have been able to "beam" electricity a few feet to power a light bulb, the day when our laptops and cell phones can charge without having to plug them in to a wall socket still seems decades in the future.

Nokia, however, has taken another...

LG Panther is the codename for the company's first Windows Phone 7 smartphone. It hits the second category devices defined by Microsoft, because of its sliding QWERTY keyboard and it's rumored to launch this September.
LG seems to be in a real hurry with their first Windows Phone 7 device. New information shows the previously leaked QWERTY-packing Series 7 running LG device goes under the codename Panther. It's surely not the best codename we've heard out there, but it could be worse.

Downloadsquad writes: Did you know that the Xbox 360 is just a PC in a box? Sure, the inputs are different and you generally attach it to a TV -- but still, internally, it's PC hardware. You can even use the controllers with your PC if you like! The Xbox doesn't run Windows though; and despite its name, Windows Phone 7 isn't anything like the Windows you'll find on your PC. It's a similar situation with Apple devices: the desktop machines use standard PC hardware, but the iPhone, iPad and iPod all use 'phone-like'...

However even that battery turned out to be unseen before in a BlackBerry device. Its model is FX-1 with 1050 mAh of capacity. We said unseen, not impressive, right?
