he Ascent lineup of Vertu luxury phones is about to be updated. Unusually rich in features, the Ascent X packs GPS, 32GB storage and a 5 megapixel camera. We even have a couple of photos of the thing sourced from the Bluetooth website.

It has been a while since a Nokia phone topped the "Longest specs sheet" charts but the Nokia N8-00 that just leaked seems like it means it. The future smartphone flagship runs on Symbian^3 and packs a 12 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics.

The Sony Ericsson Satio (and recently the yet to be released Vivaz) both lack a nice modern convenience - a music equalizer. A team of SE developers have come up with a fix today - and it's a rather strange fix.
The equalizer controls have been released as a separate downloadable application from PlayNow.
The new Equalizer for Satio and Vivaz is a separate app - it does not integrate into the music player (you can't access it from the Options menu in the music player), so each time you want to change the equalizer setting you need to switch to the app.

The touch-driven S3370 seems to be the next addition to the Samsung entry-level touchscreen phones product line. It is rumored to deliver 3G connectivity on 99 euro price.
There isn't much available information on the Samsung S3370 specs since the phone is not officially announced yet. From what we know so far it will be a pretty small and light phone, packing a small TFT touchscreen, some low-end camera, Bluetooth and a microSD slot. The only premium feature on board (in this price range, at least) is the 3G connectivity.
